Frequently asked questions about boat trips in La Maddalena
What time does the La Maddalena boat tour leave from Palau?
From Palau, meet us between 9:30 and 10:00 at Dock No. 4, next to the ferry terminal. Departure is at 10:30 sharp and we are back at around 17:30. If you are staying on the island, you can board at La Maddalena port, on Via Amendola, at 8:45.
Which islands does the La Maddalena boat tour visit?
The tour makes four stops: the bay of Santa Maria, the Budelli Natural Pools with the Pink Beach visible from the sea, Cala Granara or Cala Ferrigno on Spargi, and the old town of La Maddalena. The itinerary may change depending on the weather or instructions from the National Park.
How much does a La Maddalena boat tour cost?
Adult tickets start at €55 in low season and go up to €70 in peak season, from August 5 to September 2. Children aged 4 to 10 pay from €35. The landing feeisalreadyincluded in the price.
Do I need to pay in advance to book the La Maddalena boat tour?
No. You book online directly with us, with no upfront payment: you pay for your ticket on the day of the tour. In July and August we recommend booking at least five days in advance.
Can I have lunch on board during the La Maddalena boat tour?
Yes. On board there is a bar and a food service with pasta with prawns or tomato sauce (€10), Sardinian specialities (€13) and Caprese salad (€10). Meals are not included in the ticket and you are welcome to bring a packed lunch.
